Installation
Fitment is straightforward and follows the same process as replacing the stock paper filter:
- Remove the airbox cover (refer to your Royal Enfield service manual for fastener locations)
- Take out the stock paper filter element
- Place the Sprint Filter P08 F1-85 into the airbox in the same orientation
- Reassemble the airbox cover and secure all fasteners
No special tools are required beyond what’s needed to access the airbox.
Maintenance
The Sprint Filter P08 F1-85 is a dry filter — DO NOT apply oil to it. Applying oil will compromise filtration performance.
For routine cleaning: remove the filter, blow clean with compressed air from the clean side (inside out), and reinstall. For heavily soiled filters, Sprint Filter recommends soaking in a common household detergent, rinsing with clean water until it runs clear, allowing it to fully air dry, and then blowing with compressed air before reinstalling.
